Recoloring HC subs with VLC or Handbrake?

Postby TeaAndApathy » Sat Dec 05, 2015 3:06 pm

I find the subs in "Master i Margarita" to be difficult to see on my TV. The white subs blend into the white and sepia/gray background.

Is there a way to recolor them and *save* that coloring using VLC or Handbrake? I understand the HC subs are part of the actual image, but I had to ask! :geek: :?:

When I burn a DVD I usually make the subtitles yellow as I find it stands out well on practically any background
